Indian Origin CEO Thinks He Should ‘Get Green Card’; Elon Musk Replies

Tesla CEO and billionaire Eon Musk reacted to Perplexity AI CEO Aravind Srinivas’ post on X with a one-word answer. The world’s richest person replied to Srinivas’ question about whether he should get a green card.

Srinivas wrote on X, “I think I should get a green card. Wdyt?” Musk grabbed the attention of users by replying to him in one word and wrote “Yes”. Aravind extended his gratitude by using two emoticons, which included a red heart emoji and a folded hands emoticons.

Who is Aravind Srinivas?

Indian-origin Aravind Srinivas, along with Andy Konwinski, Denis Yarats and Johnny Ho, founded Perplexity AI, an AI-powered search engine in 2022. Srinivas serves as the company's CEO. An alumnus of IIT Madras, he completed his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley.

Srinivas began his professional journey by working as an intern at OpenAI, after which he had stints at Google and DeepMind. Before co-founding his AI company, he worked as a research scientist at OpenAI.
